What you will do

• Shape and deliver the regional operational risk strategy aligned with global standards.
• Provide independent second-line oversight and challenge business decisions and control effectiveness.
• Lead engagement with regulators such as APRA and RBNZ.
• Partner with business lines to strengthen risk culture and accountability.
• Deliver high-quality reporting to Boards, Committees, and senior management.
• Lead and develop a high-performing operational risk team across the region.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in operational risk management within banking or financial services.
• Must hold valid work rights for Australia.
• Deep understanding of operational risk frameworks and APRA standards (including CPS 230 and FAR).
• Proven executive leadership experience in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Banking.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and regulatory management skills.

• MBA or postgraduate qualification.
