What you will do

• Lead and execute all financial operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Manage tax compliance including GST/VAT, corporate tax, and transfer pricing for multi-entity structures.
• Oversee crypto and digital asset accounting, wallet reconciliation, and $ME token reporting/valuation.
• Own AML/CTF compliance obligations, KYC processes, and relationships with regulators and auditors.
• Design and operate treasury fund flows and manage liquidity and risk for both fiat and crypto assets.
• Drive P&L management, forecasting, and unit economics analysis (CAC, LTV, cohort analysis).

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations in a hands-on capacity.
• Direct experience with crypto and digital asset accounting, including on-chain transaction reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of AML/CTF compliance obligations and regulated financial environments.
• Background in gaming, betting, trading, exchanges, payments, or similarly high-velocity environments.
• Experience managing treasury and liquidity across fiat and crypto.
• Must be based in Melbourne or Sydney, Australia.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with multi-entity structures and cross-border compliance.
• Experience working in lean, zero-to-one startup environments with minimal structure.
