TL;DR

Legal Counsel (Compliance/Gamedev): Managing regulatory compliance, personal data protection, and contract drafting for a global RPG studio with an accent on Polish law and international regulatory frameworks. Focus on developing practical legal solutions that balance business needs with legal requirements and managing complex cross-company international projects.

Location: Hybrid (at least 3 days per week) or onsite in Warsaw, Poland

Salary: 13,800 – 19,000 PLN gross monthly

What you will do

  • Provide ongoing support in regulatory compliance, including consumer protection and personal data protection.
  • Analyze regulations across various jurisdictions to shape the company's compliance approach.
  • Conduct risk assessments, DPIAs, and vendor assessments.
  • Draft and negotiate IT contracts and service agreements.
  • Lead and support complex cross-company and international legal projects.
  • Develop internal policies and conduct internal audits and training sessions.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience as an in-house lawyer or at a reputable law firm.
  • Degree in Polish law.
  • Fluent Polish and English, including legal terminology.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of compliance matters in an international environment.

Nice to have

  • Interest in the video game industry.
  • Experience in conducting legal compliance and risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property law.
  • Legal advisor or advocate qualifications.
