What you will do
- Supervise a team of Scholarship Coordinators and lead them through significant systems and process changes.
- Manage the full delivery of scholar management services, from pre-departure preparation through the duration of the scholarship.
- Handle escalated cases and provide coaching, quality assurance, and feedback to the coordination team.
- Oversee the accurate recording of scholar risks and incidents, ensuring appropriate escalation to the NCP Secretariat.
- Analyze recurring issues and procedural gaps to propose practical improvements for consistency and compliance.
- Prepare evidence-based reports and advice on scholar trends and system impacts for government clients.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Substantial leadership experience in communications, public diplomacy, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies across social media and other channels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and continuously improve service delivery and systems.
- Strong analytical capability, including setting and reporting on meaningful KPIs.
- Must be a resident with authority to live and work in Australia.
