What you will do

• Architect enterprise interoperability solutions for healthcare messaging, APIs, and platform integration services.
• Design integration solutions leveraging standards such as HL7v2, FHIR, CCDA, IHE, and X12.
• Lead technical teams in developing interoperable APIs, exchange workflows, and integration services.
• Design and review REST, SOAP, and web service-based integration architectures and API frameworks.
• Support cloud modernization, automation initiatives, and CI/CD enablement.
• Provide architecture governance, technical leadership, and mentoring across delivery teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in solution architecture or healthcare interoperability environments.
• Strong experience with HL7v2, FHIR, CCDA, IHE, or X12 standards.
• Experience with security frameworks including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML 2.0.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Government clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal healthcare organizations.
• Experience with InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, or similar integration platforms.
• HealthShare Unified Care Record Technical Specialist or SAFe Agile Architect certifications.
• Experience supporting cloud-native healthcare modernization efforts.
