What you will do

• Own and deliver engineering platform capabilities that enable automated build, test, and deployment services.
• Design and evolve CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent and repeatable delivery processes across teams.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices to drive standardization and eliminate configuration drift.
• Integrate security controls into engineering workflows to ensure services are secure by design.
• Support engineering teams by providing tooling and best practices to improve delivery velocity and resilience.
• Continuously optimize automation to remove repetitive manual tasks and improve developer experience.

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming and scripting.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and automation orchestration.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and IT Security.
• Required: Ability to undergo and maintain DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance.
• Required: Must have resided in the UK for 10+ years to be eligible for clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++.
• Knowledge of database technologies and ORM (e.g., Elastic, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Experience with IaC frameworks like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and container platforms.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
