What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of Startups Applied AI Architects, maintaining a high bar for technical credibility and execution speed.
• Direct pre-sales engagements for high-priority startup accounts, from discovery through deployment and expansion.
• Develop technical playbooks for LLM evaluations, customer-specific frameworks, and AI architecture for resource-constrained teams.
• Partner with GTM leadership to shape segment strategy and drive Claude API adoption within the startup ecosystem.
• Translate customer usage patterns and architectural signals into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering teams.
• Represent hirify.global's technical expertise at conferences, workshops, and within the AI engineering community.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience managing and leading pre-sales or technical go-to-market teams.
• Deep experience working with startups and high-growth technology companies.
• Hands-on expertise with context engineering, LLM evaluation frameworks, and modern AI architectures.
• Fluency in Python and common LLM frameworks and integration patterns.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, CA to meet hybrid office requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience as a technical founder or in founder-led sales motions.
• Proven track record of winning competitive technical evaluations against other LLM providers.
• Experience building foundational team infrastructure, onboarding programs, and coaching systems.
• Visible technical presence in the AI community via talks, content, or open-source contributions.
