What you will do

• Own the roadmap and operating model for Platform Engineering, setting division-level priorities and managing dependencies.
• Lead and coach a team of Software Engineering Managers across seven foundational teams.
• Establish engineering standards for framework conventions, reliability targets, and CI/CD health.
• Drive the AI-native platform strategy, focusing on agent orchestration and developer environments.
• Oversee division-level reliability, including SLO definitions and incident response frameworks.
• Partner with the CTO on organizational design, architectural decisions, and headcount planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in leadership.
• 2+ years of experience managing other managers across multiple teams.
• Technical expertise in distributed systems, backend/mobile frameworks, or reliability engineering.
• Proven track record at a growth-stage B2B SaaS company.
• Experience directing teams building on LLMs and agentic workflows.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in Testing Frameworks, Quality Engineering, or Developer Productivity.
• Experience scaling platforms through rapid growth (Series D+).
• Familiarity with CMMS, IoT, or industrial SaaS domains.
