What you will do

• Lead user discovery through interviews, contextual inquiry, and usability testing to identify core problems.
• Develop journey maps, service blueprints, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Build interactive prototypes and contribute to design systems using Figma and low-code platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and data engineers to ensure technical feasibility and design intent.
• Communicate design rationale and trade-offs to non-design stakeholders.
• Integrate AI tools to accelerate synthesis and help clients evolve their product and service design.

Requirements

• Must be based in LA or Orange County, CA, with the ability to be on-site at client locations in SoCal.
• 5–8 years of experience across UX research, interaction design, and design build.
• Proven experience in agency, consultancy, or client-facing delivery contexts.
• Experience designing for complex internal enterprise tools, workflows, or platforms.
• Proficiency in Figma and strong research rigor in synthesizing qualitative data.
• AI-forward mindset with active use of AI tools to accelerate design iterations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization components.
• Experience with low-code tools.
