Business Analyst/ Product Owner (Fintech)

What you will do

• Identify opportunities and define goals for various initiatives in collaboration with business partners.
• Articulate detailed requirements, acceptance criteria, and prepare specifications to guide development.
• Coordinate delivery across business, user experience, and technology teams.
• Design and review test cases to ensure quality of the delivered solutions.
• Manage the product backlog, write user stories and epics according to the overall roadmap.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement and improve organizational best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, product owner, or user experience role.
• Proven experience in an Agile setting writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and organizing backlogs.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in New York, NY.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice to have

• Degree in computer science, business, or related fields.
• Experience working at an investment bank or other leading financial services firms.
• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, JIRAGEN) for requirements documentation.
