What you will do

• Start, stop, and monitor auxiliary equipment including burners, pumps, and fans.
• Perform water treatment duties, including resin bed regeneration and brine system management.
• Execute safety procedures such as LOTO, equipment blocking, and confined space entry.
• Conduct routine maintenance on valves, pumps, and fuel systems.
• Report operational trends and abnormalities to the Control Operator.
• Maintain safe working conditions and perform housekeeping duties in the plant.

Requirements

• High school diploma or trade school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in military, utility, or heavy industry.
• Must be based in Philadelphia, PA.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime.
• Physical ability to climb, tolerate heights, confined spaces, and temperature extremes.
• Valid driver license and ability to pass a physical and drug screening.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as an operator in a power plant, steam plant, or refinery.
• Working knowledge of combustion principles, steam turbines, and chilled water systems.
