What you will do

• Design and implement complex distributed systems with strict latency and reliability requirements.
• Own critical components end-to-end, from architecture and design through deployment and operations.
• Drive technical alignment across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Science, and customers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor peers through knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Propose and implement tools, frameworks, and automations to maintain system performance standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems (reliability and scaling).
• Experience developing large-scale distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
