Fullstack Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript)

TL;DR

Fullstack Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js): Designing and scaling robust systems for the Partnerships organization to expand access to mental health care with an accent on emerging growth areas like Government and Employer verticals. Focus on building scalable distributed systems, integrating LLM-based features, and optimizing delivery velocity using AI-assisted tools.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States, excluding Hawaii)

What you will do

• Design and scale robust systems within an autonomous, cross-functional team.
• Build software to expand addressable population and enable seamless access to care for strategic partners.
• Lead critical technical initiatives for emerging growth areas including Government, Employers, and PCPs.
• Foster a high-performing engineering culture through mentoring peers, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Implement complex, distributed systems that are scalable, maintainable, and secure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience scaling web applications in production.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Proven experience leading high-priority technical projects from conception to delivery.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• Ability to design and implement complex, distributed systems.
• Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience developing or integrating LLM-based features or agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience thriving in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
• Advanced knowledge of database design and performance tuning for PostgreSQL and non-relational stores.
