What you will do

• Architect and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions that align with complex business needs.
• Contribute to high-level system design decisions focusing on configurability and long-term maintainability.
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery cycles while maintaining code integrity.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user needs into innovative features.
• Optimize application performance and ensure security and reliability through thorough code reviews.
• Mentor the team in modern engineering best practices, including sophisticated TypeScript typing.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software development of scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
• Proficiency in the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js) and TypeScript.
• Must be able to live and work full-time in Canada.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI-augmented tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) for development.
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including vector search.
• Deep experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, and Playwright.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
