TL;DR

Senior Software Product Manager (eCommerce): Leading the strategy, definition, and execution of the GM Energy eCommerce platform with an accent on front-end user experience and cross-functional integration. Focus on driving EV adoption through digital innovation, managing product backlogs, and optimizing customer journeys in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Location: Must be based in Warren, Michigan (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

What you will do

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for the GM Energy eCommerce website.
  • Lead front-end platform implementation, including planning, reporting, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and creative agencies to refine designs and content.
  • Manage the product feature backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an agile environment.
  • Conduct usability and A/B testing to optimize site performance and personalization.
  • Partner with IT and QA teams to ensure successful production transitions and user acceptance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, marketing, or customer experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency with Jira and Adobe tools.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US (GM does not provide immigration sponsorship).
  • Must be able to work on-site in Warren, MI at least 3 times per week.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Test & Target.
  • Familiarity with EV and energy industry trends.
  • Experience with software product management practices.
