Salary: $230,000 – $385,000 USD + Equity

What you will do

• Design, build, and scale creative rendering and presentation systems that power ads experiences.
• Develop infrastructure and tooling for ad formats across text, image, video, native, conversational, and interactive surfaces.
• Define how ads are structured, rendered, and delivered across ChatGPT and other product experiences.
• Architect distributed systems and services with strong reliability, usability, privacy, and performance guarantees.
• Drive 0→1 product development through rapid prototyping and iterative deployment.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Research to create high-quality, privacy-preserving ad experiences.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building high-scale consumer products, creative systems, ads systems, or platform infrastructure.
• Track record of architecting complex systems that power user-facing experiences across multiple surfaces.
• Ability to work across the intersection of frontend systems and backend infrastructure.
• Strong product intuition and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable in 0→1 environments where systems and architecture are defined from scratch.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco, USA

Nice to have

• Experience with ad formats and creative rendering systems.
• Knowledge of content delivery, design systems, or media platforms.
• Experience with interactive product experiences.
