Salary: $143,700 – $213,800 annually

What you will do

• Contribute to technical decisions and implementations for AI systems balancing accuracy, latency, and compliance.
• Collaborate with product and science teams to deliver AI features that simplify complex business processes.
• Develop software features and improvements for major portions of the team's software.
• Solve complex software problems by identifying and implementing simple, effective designs.
• Actively participate in design and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers to maintain high technical standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in system design or architecture, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Proficiency in at least one major software programming language.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, source control, and operations.
• Proven experience building and delivering complex software systems to customers.
• Must be based in or able to work from Seattle, WA or New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing (NLP).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
