What you will do
- Contribute to technical decisions and implementations for AI systems balancing accuracy, latency, and compliance.
- Collaborate with product and science teams to deliver AI features that simplify complex business processes.
- Develop software features and improvements for major portions of the team's software.
- Solve complex software problems by identifying and implementing simple, effective designs.
- Actively participate in design and code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers to maintain high technical standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional non-internship software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in system design or architecture, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Proficiency in at least one major software programming language.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, source control, and operations.
- Proven experience building and delivering complex software systems to customers.
- Must be based in or able to work from Seattle, WA or New York, NY.
Nice to have
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing (NLP).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
