What you will do

• Assemble mechanical components of wind turbines using hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes.
• Execute torquing, alignment, and fit-up of large components such as gearboxes, bearings, and shafts.
• Follow detailed work instructions and engineering drawings to ensure accurate builds.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain an organized work area to prevent injuries.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to troubleshoot production problems and improve processes.
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or heavy manufacturing.
• English fluency for safety and job-related communication.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and technical documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain overhead crane operator certification.
• Must pass a respiratory fit test and be able to work at heights.

Nice to have

• Mechanical certifications or technical training.
• Experience in wind turbine, automotive, or industrial equipment assembly.
• Understanding of ISO 9000:2000 Quality System.
