What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex features, breaking ambiguous product problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive technical excellence by writing maintainable code and performing thoughtful reviews to elevate team capability.
• Design efficient, scalable systems and evaluate architectural trade-offs across APIs, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers on design patterns, debugging, and engineering practices.
• Improve deployment reliability, monitoring, and observability, leading production incident responses when necessary.
• Collaborate with Product and QA to ensure high-quality delivery and clear communication of technical risks.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with backend development using Python.
• Experience building modern frontend applications (Svelte and/or jQuery preferred).
• Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and scalable application design.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of browser or email extensions.
• Experience with CRM integrations.
• Work with OpenAI APIs and LLM-powered applications.
