What you will do

• Develop and maintain security capabilities to protect day-to-day business operations.
• Lead security design and implementation within a large-scale $200m transformation program.
• Collaborate with technology teams, underwriters, and senior stakeholders to solve complex problems.
• Manage a portfolio of security projects and act as an escalation point for junior team members.
• Translate business requirements into pragmatic and effective security solutions.
• Design and build defenses against sophisticated cyber threats, including supply chain and AI risks.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in security architecture across Azure, GCP, and AWS.
• Experience with financial services regulatory frameworks such as FCA, Lloyd's, and NYDFS.
• Proven track record of evaluating, selecting, and implementing innovative security technologies.
• Strong communication skills to engage with the board, regulators, and business underwriters.
• Ability to embed security solutions into business transformation with tangible outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with scripting or coding to drive automation-first thinking.
• Understanding of security implications for AI and large-scale data science workloads.
