Salary: $206,550 – $243,000

What you will do

  • Design and evolve scalable systems for provider search, ranking, and booking.
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and clinicians to align technical decisions with patient outcomes.
  • Lead complex technical projects across teams, shaping scope and execution.
  • Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the organization.
  • Integrate AI-assisted development tools into the team workflow to improve velocity.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and advocate for production reliability.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience building scalable, production-ready systems.
  • Strong expertise in API design and data modeling.
  • Advanced system architecture experience with a focus on trade-offs and reliability.
  • Technical leadership experience in shaping scope and project execution.
  • Fluent with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code).
  • Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).

Nice to have

  • Experience with data-intensive systems and pipelines.
  • Prior experience in early-stage or high-growth startup environments.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting complex production issues.
