What you will do
- Design and build scalable, reliable APIs to solve complex customer problems.
- Own large-scale backend projects from design to execution.
- Collaborate with frontend and application engineers to integrate backend services.
- Ensure system observability, performance, and scalability.
- Contribute to company-building initiatives and maintain high engineering standards.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and AWS infrastructure.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective team collaboration.
- Strong judgment on technical tradeoffs and a preference for stable, supported technologies.
