What you will do

• Define the technical vision for the AI platform, including service boundaries, data flows, and integration contracts.
• Select, evaluate, and replace tools, frameworks, and services for the team.
• Write and review code, and debug production systems.
• Set engineering standards for the platform team, including CI/CD practices, testing expectations, and documentation norms.
• Own the operational health of the platform, including SLOs, incident response, and capacity planning.
• Work with infrastructure, security, cloud, data, and ML pipeline teams to translate architectural intent into shipped capability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in a technical leadership or architecture role.
• Experience architecting and shipping production platforms.
• Deep experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Extensive production AI/ML systems experience.
• Demonstrated technical depth across multiple domains, including infrastructure, networking, data engineering, ML pipelines, and security.

Nice to have

• Experience at commercial tech companies, including product engineering, SaaS platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with LLM application development.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practices.
• Experience operating in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
