What you will do
- Provide 24/7 incident support for the Enterprise Cloud infrastructure estate.
- Deploy infrastructure changes and implement service requests to support business operations.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex technical faults.
- Work with Application Support and Service Management teams to troubleshoot high-impact incidents.
- Maintain and manage Linux operating systems and virtual/physical hardware.
Requirements
- Must be based in Sheffield, UK.
- Proficiency in managing Linux operating systems via command line.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare ESX, Microsoft Hyper-V, or Kubernetes.
- Sound knowledge of Incident and Change Management processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts to various stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ServiceNow.
