What you will do

• Build and operate shared infrastructure including resource systems, data systems, and observability to allow science to scale without drag.
• Develop internal automations, dashboards, and self-service tooling using modern coding tools and APIs.
• Manage hiring and onboarding operations for the science organization to ensure new hires are productive from day one.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Security, and Engineering to optimize and scale cross-functional interfaces.
• Translate technical progress into clear strategic updates and roadmaps for leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in research operations, technical operations, or infrastructure program management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to build tools using scripting and APIs.
• Experience managing infrastructure, cloud systems, or vendors at scale.
• Strong written communication skills for designing clear operational processes.

Nice to have

• Experience working within research-heavy or ML/AI organizations.
• Background in platform engineering, site reliability (SRE), or infrastructure operations.
• Proven track record of turning ambiguous spaces into well-designed, scalable systems.
