What you will do

  • Implement all aspects of CFSR in assigned regions, including state preparation and conducting case reviews.
  • Review and provide feedback on assessments, progress reports, and correspondence.
  • Document, track, and monitor review and program improvement activities for regional states.
  • Support states in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Program Improvement Plans (PIP).
  • Analyze CFSR data indicators and context data to help states understand performance and adjust strategies.
  • Coordinate collaboration among CB, state agency staff, legal partners, and tribal communities.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a federal background check to serve in a position of public trust.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in child welfare or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience with CFSR-related programs in federal, state, or local public child welfare.
  • 5 years of experience with CFSR and PIP processes, including accurate application of the federal OSRI.
  • 5 years of experience analyzing information and data and communicating findings.

Nice to have

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience managing and reporting public agency administrative child welfare data.
  • Direct experience administering the CFSR process or PIP development at various government levels.
  • Experience working in a federal contracting environment.
