What you will do

• Plan and execute validation and compliance tests for hardware systems in laboratory environments and live sites.
• Coordinate with notified bodies and third-party laboratories for external certification and type testing.
• Perform in-field testing and commissioning to validate safety, performance, and grid interoperability.
• Execute targeted test campaigns covering electrical safety (LVD), EMC, and grid code compliance (e.g., G99/G100).
• Analyze and troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues, collaborating with design engineers for corrective actions.
• Design test equipment and software for automated HIL testing and EOL verification at production sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in hardware test, compliance, regulatory, or certification engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with electrical or power-electronic systems in lab or field environments.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, power analysers, multimeters, and data acquisition systems.
• Working knowledge of LVD, EMC, and UK/EU grid connection codes and directives.
• Must be able to work on-site in London, England.
