What you will do

  • Take ownership of semiconductor manufacturing processes including diffusion, photolithography, metallization, bonding, and encapsulation.
  • Optimize and maintain process parameters to ensure stable, repeatable, and capable manufacturing output.
  • Develop, update, and implement process recipes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor process performance using SPC and analyze yield data to identify trends and root causes.
  • Lead structured problem-solving activities using 8D, 5-Why, and DMAIC methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering and Maintenance teams to support process qualification for new products.

Requirements

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (semiconductor experience is an advantage).
  • Analytical mindset with basic knowledge of SPC, statistical analysis, or quality tools (JMP, Minitab, Excel).
  • Familiarity with structured problem-solving methods such as 5-Why or 8D.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on engineering environment and support shop floor teams.
