What you will do

• Populate and maintain the completions database for E&I systems including HV (400 kV/132 kV), MV/LV, DCS/PLC, and telecoms.
• Develop and control Inspection Test Records (ITRs) and QC checksheets in line with project ITPs and international codes.
• Compile System Turnover Packages (STPs) and Mechanical Completion dossiers (LTQRs) for client sign-off.
• Plan and lead E&I discipline walkdowns at RFW, MC, and RFSU stages, managing punch lists from raising to clearance.
• Coordinate the National Grid HV interface, including outage windows, switching schedules, and energisation sequences.
• Interface with E-House, switchgear, and DCS/PLC vendors to ensure seamless technical handovers.

Requirements

• Experience as an E&I Completions Engineer on major process or power projects (e.g., oil & gas, power generation, energy storage).
• Hands-on proficiency with completions management systems like WinPCS, GoCompletions, or Hexagon Smart Completions.
• Ability to interpret and challenge single-line diagrams, cable schedules, loop drawings, and protection schemes.
• Knowledge of E&I QC activities including IR testing, HV pressure testing, and loop checks.
• CSCS card (Supervisor or Manager grade) and SSSTS or SMSTS certifications.
• Right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with first-of-a-kind (FOAK) technology projects such as LAES, hydrogen, or CCS.
• Direct experience with National Grid interface and HV energisation sequencing.
• Working knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR-zoned plant requirements.
• C&G 2391 / 18th Edition or equivalent electrical testing qualification.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering.
