Salary: $85,500 - $105,600 CAD

What you will do

• Design and implement high-performing software applications based on industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with firmware and internal teams to support the Asset Tracker project.
• Perform Test-Driven and Security-Driven Development to maintain the integrity of the open platform.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot root causes of bugs using call stacks and performance data.
• Develop prototypes and PoCs to drive innovation and evaluate minimum viable products.
• Maintain code quality and automation to support the scalability of over 4 million deployed devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Computer Science, Electrical/Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Developer using OOP (C# preferred).
• 1+ years of cloud computing experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, Linux, multithreaded programming, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server database design; Postgres and Microservices experience preferred.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and writing unit/automation tests.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in using AI tools to improve efficiency.
