Salary: 90,000 - 130,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions aligned with complex business needs.
• Participate in technical discussions and high-level system architecture decisions focusing on maintainability.
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery cycles without sacrificing code integrity.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user needs into innovative features.
• Optimize application performance, ensure security, and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Mentor the team on modern engineering best practices, including advanced TypeScript typing and AI prompting.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software development architecting scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
• Proficiency in the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js).
• Demonstrated ability to use AI-augmented development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including vector search (e.g., MongoDB Atlas Vector Search).
• Deep experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be able to live and work full-time in the US or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
