What you will do

• Determine manufacturing strategies and design processes for heat treating, robotic welding, fabrication, and machining of parts and assemblies.
• Program CNC machines (lathes/mills) and robotic welding machines while maintaining fabrication standards.
• Coordinate capital planning at site and regional levels and write appropriation requests for plant projects.
• Direct and design work-holding fixtures to reduce manufacturing costs and improve quality.
• Manage Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DfMA) in collaboration with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Implement and update SAP capacity schemes and scheduling areas for manufacturing locations.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Manufacturing.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both management and manufacturing floor staff.
• Ability to plan and manage projects with internal departments and external suppliers to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work onsite in Reno, Pennsylvania, USA.
