What you will do

• Monitor sales forecasts to assess stock levels of long lead time components and company production capacity.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, and Production to guarantee material availability on required dates.
• Forecast purchase needs for common materials to optimize purchase orders and enhance trading gains.
• Act as an ERP key user for the Supply Chain area to control MRP-generated material purchase needs.
• Drive continuous improvement of supply chain processes and working methods.
• Develop and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) to provide critical data for management decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechanical, Electrotechnical, or similar.
• 2-4 years of experience in S&OP or similar material planning positions.
• Strong understanding of material planning, management, and Material Master Data.
• Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be based in or able to work from Maia, Portugal.
