SW & Controls Engineer (Automotive)

Starting salary: €36,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and develop system requirements, control architectures, test concepts, and electronics designs.
• Develop control algorithms, electronic components, schematics, system designs, and initial calibration datasets.
• Perform system integration, testing, validation, rapid prototyping, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Develop embedded software, including requirements engineering and software architecture.
• Integrate software into electronic hardware control units and provide commissioning and customer-site support.
• Develop algorithms for future mobility and improve software applications, development processes, and tools.

Requirements

• Completed technical studies in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or a related field.
• Previous professional and industry experience with development processes and automotive development tools.
• Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, quality management standards, and model-based or agile development.
• Programming experience with MATLAB Simulink, ANSI C, C++, C#, and Python.
• Knowledge of automotive domains such as powertrain or vehicle systems.
• Good to advanced English proficiency, with strong communication, analytical, teamwork, coordination, and presentation skills.
