Senior VFX Artist (Gamedev): Delivering high-quality visual effects for an unannounced game project in cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED with an accent on particle effects for characters, environments, gameplay and cutscenes. Focus on researching new workflows, tools and techniques to improve and push the quality of real-time VFX.

Location: Fully Remote (Time zone difference of -/+ 2 hours from GMT+1)

Salary: 17 400 PLN - 20 900 PLN gross

What you will do

• Deliver high-quality visual effects matching artistic vision within technical constraints.
• Create and implement particle effects for characters, environments, gameplay and cutscenes.
• Maintain high-quality and optimized VFX in collaboration with Lighting, Material and Tech Art teams.
• Research new workflows, tools and techniques to improve and push the quality of real-time VFX.
• Create visually engaging and immersive VFX for environments.
• Document workflow and communicating relevant information to other teams.

Requirements

• Professional experience creating real-time VFX for games including shipped or completed projects.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates VFX creation for games.
• Expertise in both real-time and baked simulations.
• Very good knowledge of 3D packages (3ds Max/Blender), texture authoring software (Photoshop/Substance Designer) and simulation software (Houdini).
• Good understanding of performance limitations and optimization procedures.
• Fluent in English.
