Location: Must be based in or be willing to relocate to Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid or Onsite).

Salary: 33,800–46,475 PLN gross monthly.

What you will do

• Recruit, lead, mentor, and guide the VFX artist team.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain efficient VFX workflows and pipelines.
• Prototype, research, and integrate particle effects using Unreal Engine 5.
• Collaborate with gameplay, character, and cinematics teams to support project visual requirements.
• Work with directors to define project vision and estimate production workloads.
• Push the boundaries of technical art through continuous research and innovation.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in the gaming industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Expert-level knowledge of Unreal Engine 5.
• Strong background in real-time and baked simulation techniques.
• Proficiency in standard 3D software (3ds Max, Maya, or Blender).
• Solid understanding of rendering techniques, shaders, lighting, and performance optimization.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
• Relocation to Warsaw, Poland is required.
• Portfolio submission is mandatory for consideration.
