Tech Lead (Java)

What you will do

• Analyze and resolve critical production issues for high-volume hiring event platforms.
• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM teams to triage and address support tickets.
• Monitor production systems and respond swiftly to performance degradation or alerts.
• Lead, shepherd, and onboard other engineers to ensure team productivity and code quality.
• Support architecture changes and system integrations impacting event logic.
• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, including merging and deploying code.

Requirements

• Must be based in LATAM
• 7+ years of experience with Java and Springboot.
• Proficiency in React for frontend development.
• Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, and SQL or MongoDB.
• Proven technical leadership experience with the ability to manage ambiguity and coordinate others.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously.

Nice to have

• Product management experience working with GTM teams.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.
• Familiarity with Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.
