What you will do

• Develop new features and applications for the Zenput platform, including web and mobile UIs, webhooks, and APIs.
• Contribute to and influence design and development decisions within the engineering team.
• Deliver value incrementally in an agile environment using SCRUM and tight feedback loops.
• Maximize velocity and minimize risk by implementing TDD/CI and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership using Jira, Slack, and Zoom.

Requirements

• English: Proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts both verbally and in writing.
• Location: Must be based in Guadalajara, Mexico.
• Strong understanding of software design fundamentals, algorithms, and a CS/CIS systems mentality.
• Practical experience with RDBMS such as MySQL or Postgres (beyond basic ORM usage).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and associated tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles, distributed systems, or complex user interfaces.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of relevant fullstack or web work experience.
• Specific experience with React, Django, Javascript, Python, NoSQL, Mobile Development, and AWS.
• History of open source contributions.
