Senior Fullstack Developer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Design, build, and support full stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Develop APIs, user interfaces, and data access components to support platform workflows and integrations.
• Collaborate with architects, product leads, and design stakeholders to translate requirements into software.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and release support within Agile delivery processes.
• Optimize applications for performance, usability, accessibility, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation and reusable coding standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of software development experience across frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise application development.
• Strong experience with SQL, relational databases, and modern JavaScript frameworks (HTML, CSS).
• Must reside within the continental US.
• Ability to obtain Government clearance (includes fingerprinting and background check).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with InterSystems IRIS, healthcare integrations, or enterprise interoperability platforms.
• Familiarity with React, Redux, Python, PostgreSQL, or containerized deployments.
• Previous experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal healthcare programs.
• Relevant certifications in cloud, Agile, or software development.
