TL;DR

Incident Manager (Infrastructure): Overseeing and managing the entire incident resolution process within the organization with an accent on communication, coordination, and swift service restoration. Focus on leading incident response, conducting post-incident reviews, and implementing process improvements to safeguard business operations.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Nicosia, Cyprus or Greece (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for production incidents and service disruptions.
  • Lead and coordinate the incident response process to ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and status updates during incidents.
  • Prioritize and escalate incidents based on impact and urgency.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide incident management training and guidance to IT teams.

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar incident management role.
  • Proficiency with incident monitoring and response platforms like Pagerduty, NewRelic, Zabbix, or Elastic.
  • Strong knowledge of incident management processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple incidents simultaneously.
  • Availability for on-call schedule rotation.

Nice to have

  • ITIL Foundation or Certified Incident Manager (CIM) certifications.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and applications.
  • Experience in Problem Management.
