What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code and automation.
• Utilize AI-enabled engineering tools to enhance code quality and accelerate development cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define functional requirements and influence product direction.
• Deliver highly scalable, robust, and performant APIs and software modules.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.
• Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks to ensure optimal system performance and responsiveness.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Java server-side development.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and ORM frameworks.
• Deep understanding of design patterns, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Experience with SQL development, data modeling, and complex data structures.
• Solid grasp of modern design approaches including Event-Based Design, SOLID, and Clean Code.
• Must be based in or able to work from Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Kafka, Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, Redis, and ELK stack.
