What you will do

• Design and develop scalable Java-based applications for high-availability banking environments.
• Actively participate in the full software development lifecycle, including code reviews, design, and agile ceremonies.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines following the "we build it, we run it" philosophy.
• Provide L3 support for live applications to ensure system stability.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements and architectural design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Bucharest, Romania.
• Proven experience in back-end development using Java 8/17.
• In-depth understanding of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Java design patterns.
• Experience with SOAP/RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Cassandra) and Spring Data JDBC.
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, OpenShift, and AWS cloud solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with modern CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube).
