What you will do

• Develop and maintain design tools and procedures to assist the technical department in day-to-day designs.
• Support R&D projects and ensure product compliance through the development of calculation models and technical literature.
• Prepare detailed plans and drawings, including project specifications and cost estimates.
• Lead and mentor a small team of engineers within the technical department.
• Deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor product developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Relevant working experience in construction, engineering design, architecture, or building materials.
• Sound knowledge of fundamental structural engineering principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
• Must be based in or able to work from the Sunway office in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Precast Concrete lifting and connections.
