What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain critical distributed systems, owning their reliability and performance.
• Drive projects from initial ideation through to production operations and customer delivery.
• Develop and iterate on features for alert ingestion and delivery, specifically for Prometheus-based alerts.
• Contribute to the open-source legacy of Grafana and collaborate across different squads.
• Mentor team members and participate in technical design discussions.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the availability of running services.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK.
• Solid experience with Go (or familiarity with Python, Java, C++, or Rust).
• Experience developing software for the Cloud or a strong background in systems engineering.
• Proven ability to drive projects from requirement gathering to shipping in a self-driven manner.
• Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software.
• Strong communication skills are essential for working in a fully remote, distributed team.
