TL;DR

Retirement Plan Consultant (Finance): Designing and maintaining qualified retirement plans and managing a book of business with an accent on investment advisory and ERISA compliance. Focus on driving client retention, managing sales pipelines, and providing strategic workforce consulting.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the USA, preferably in CST or EST time zones)

Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 per year

What you will do

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline via convergence leads, referrals, and COI management.
  • Design and implement tailored retirement plan structures for institutional clients.
  • Provide investment advisory services and present diversified plan options to decision-makers.
  • Ensure plan compliance with ERISA regulations and perform benchmarking due diligence.
  • Lead client relationships and execute customized strategies to drive retention.
  • Conduct fiduciary training and offer regulatory and legislative consulting.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • 2+ years of experience in retirement plan related roles.
  • Valid relevant securities license or ability to obtain one shortly after hire.
  • Strong understanding of ERISA regulations and fiduciary best practices.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

Nice to have

  • 2–5 years of industry-related sales experience.
