TL;DR
Finance & Strategy Manager (Fintech): Connecting business and operational decisions to financial outcomes through forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis with an accent on brokerage P&L and performance analysis. Focus on building scalable financial models, improving reporting processes, and delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership.
Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA; Chicago, IL; or New York, NY with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
Salary: $106,000 – $160,000 USD (base pay depends on location zone)

What you will do
- Analyze financial results and identify key business drivers to communicate risks and opportunities to leadership teams.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Accounting, and Procurement teams to support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting materials and maintain key financial metrics.
- Build financial models and business analyses to support product investments, growth initiatives, and operational planning.
- Improve financial reporting processes and data quality to support accurate forecasting and scalable decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) with increasing responsibility.
- Experience building financial models, forecasts, and reporting processes in complex business environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Slides.
- Familiarity with analytical and financial systems such as SQL, Looker, and Anaplan.
