TL;DR
DevOps Engineer (MLOps) (Cloud-Native Infrastructure): Implementing and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure, containerized Java applications, databases, Kafka clusters, and ML workflows with an accent on GitOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and MLflow. Focus on automating infrastructure as code, building zero-downtime deployment pipelines, and ensuring scalable, observable, and high-performance environments.
Location: Athens, Attica, Greece; hybrid workplace

What you will do
- Deploy, administer, monitor, and performance-tune containerized Spring Boot Java applications.
- Provision and operate PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases and Apache Kafka clusters, including backups, migrations, upgrades, and high availability.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on Azure or other cloud platforms, including provisioning, autoscaling, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for application and ML workflows using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and ArgoCD.
- Implement MLOps workflows with MLflow and Kubernetes, including experiment tracking, model registry, versioning, and deployment.
- Collaborate with development, data science, and security teams to deliver zero-downtime deployments and compliant operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of DevOps experience focused on automation and cloud-native environments.
- Experience operating Java and Spring Boot applications, GitOps workflows, and version control systems.
- Strong skills in Docker and Kubernetes, plus experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Fluent English, both oral and written, is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, or Kubeflow Pipelines.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Entra ID or Keycloak for authentication, authorization, and user management.
- Participation in open-source projects or DevOps communities.
