What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure server infrastructure.
• Manage server-side software and monitoring tools including Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and AWS CloudTrail.
• Perform daily system monitoring of server resources and key processes.
• Resolve operational issues and provide desktop support for users.
• Ensure stability, security, and data integrity of operational systems.
• Automate systems for deployment, maintenance, and security.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Ubuntu/Linux servers and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong background in Linux system architecture and networking concepts.
• Ability to provide desktop support for Mac OS, Windows, and Ubuntu.
• Must be based in Costa Rica.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SSH, Rsync, and Bacula.
• Experience in incident response and mitigating hacking attempts.
