What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain secure server infrastructure.
- Manage server-side software and monitoring tools including Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and AWS CloudTrail.
- Perform daily system monitoring of server resources and key processes.
- Resolve operational issues and provide desktop support for users.
- Ensure stability, security, and data integrity of operational systems.
- Automate systems for deployment, maintenance, and security.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Ubuntu/Linux servers and Bash scripting.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Strong background in Linux system architecture and networking concepts.
- Ability to provide desktop support for Mac OS, Windows, and Ubuntu.
- Must be based in Costa Rica.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SSH, Rsync, and Bacula.
- Experience in incident response and mitigating hacking attempts.
