What you will do

• Perform mechanical design for Large Structures (QVC) supporting NPI and CPI programs.
• Translate L6 system requirements into detailed L4 mechanical designs, models, and drawings.
• Optimize structural weldments and thick-plate/wall cast components (≥25 mm).
• Define mechanical layouts, tolerances, and GD&T, including fixturing concepts.
• Partner with manufacturing to enable robotic welding, CNC machining, and paint automation.
• Participate in Go See Act workshops and pre-production validation activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical design of large structural components from concept to production.
• Proficiency in CREO for modeling and assemblies.
• Deep knowledge of weldments, castings, and structural load paths.
• Understanding of robotic welding, BTS cutting, and CNC machining.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of FEA for static and dynamic structural validation.
• Experience with fatigue, impact loading, and wear mechanisms in heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of aftermarket serviceability and lifecycle performance.
