What you will do

• Design and deliver multi-disciplinary engineering projects involving high-pressure autoclave technologies for the extraction of copper, gold, nickel, and alumina.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and sizing for piping systems and mechanical equipment using AFT Fathom, Impulse, and Arrow.
• Develop and review technical specifications, P&IDs, and detailed design calculations.
• Lead equipment and piping design reviews and contribute to plant layout development.
• Participate in process hazard reviews (HAZID/HAZOP) to ensure safe design practices.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and project teams to resolve technical issues and provide guidance to junior members.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 4–10 years of relevant experience in piping or mechanical design within industrial or process environments.
• Working knowledge of ASME and other applicable design codes and standards for piping and pressure vessels.
• Experience with metallurgical or process plant equipment and piping systems.
• Willingness to travel to project sites, including remote locations.
